The Daily Show is the only news show I can stomach these days. That's not true. I listen to Democracy Now. Sometimes. But I watch Stewart and enjoy the hell out of it. It is as close a thing (Democracy Now not withstanding) to actual news going these days. Stewart's montages of blatant hypocrisy are fantastic. Thank you God that some one is able to pull that stuff together. After the big Obama let down and the cynicism of watching "meet the new boss, same as the old boss" play out. I need another rush of progressive hope. Maybe one last spasm before the reality of our inevitable head long plunge into what ever this emerging ickyness is.
