"But do your work and I shall know you. Do your work and you shall reinforce yourself"
Emerson

When we do the hard work we do the work of the soul. The work of getting down to the issues, to the questions of what we really are, and why we are acting like we do, or not acting like we could. The hard work of facing our fear, and our pain, and our blocks, and inhibitors - our longings and our dreams. When we do the hard work, we break down all the fronts, and all the screens, and all the reasons, and all the excuses. We break. And we face that brokenness, which is the hardest work. And the most important work. And when we have done some of this work, and then see another going through it, we know what is happening. And, though they are suffering, and in pain and vulnerable, our soul cheers for them. Our soul sees the strength and the courage of their battle where others may only see the breaking down.

that's a beautiful post. I happened by here via robert Frost's Banjo, and I like your thoughtfulness.
